The menopause in women is often accompanied by hot flushes. These hot flushes usually last only a few seconds, but occur several times a day and cannot be predicted.
Therefore, it makes sense to choose your clothes accordingly.
Dressing according to the onion principle has proven to be effective: you put several layers of clothing on top of each other so that when a hot flush occurs, the top layers of clothing can be taken off.
The various items of clothing should be made of thin fabrics. The best is a thin cotton T-shirt, over it a light blouse, depending on the season a not too thick jumper or slipover (no wool), a waistcoat and a silk scarf. At the beginning of a sweat breakout, you can take off the silk scarf and the waistcoat very quickly, and the jumper if necessary.
Once the sweat is over, you can put your clothes back on just as quickly so that you don't freeze afterwards.
Always take a fan with you to keep cool in case of sudden heat.
