Quite a few of them therefore spend a lot of their free time doing voluntary work or helping out family and friends. So there is no question of selfishness. According to this cliché, working mothers are used to multitasking and manage their working hours expertly, while the childless woman likes to put her feet up and cure her hangover after another long night of partying. If you look at individual cases from your own environment, you quickly realise that this cliché is not true. There are lazy and hard-working mothers as well as unreliable and responsible childless people.
