Relaxation for parents

Fathers and mothers are exposed to a great deal of stress over the years as they guide their children through life. Parents need to consciously relax in between, otherwise their nerves will no longer be able to cope. 

Parents with too much nervous tension are not able to devote themselves 100 per cent to their family when they need to, and their mental, emotional and physical health will pay a high price if they do not learn to relax in time.

Children grow out of their toys. While parents would like to get rid of toys that have been unused for years to make room for new things that are appropriate for the child's age, children are emotionally attached to their old playmates and are rarely willing to part with them. It is wrong to simply take away a child's toys; they must be willing to part with something themselves and voluntarily.

It is important for parents to provide the right support for a shy child so that they do not develop a complex about their shyness as a result of teasing and humiliation, but learn to recognise it as a normal character trait.
