Sanctuary of Truth Temple

An imposing temple building made of teak wood, some of which is up to 200 years old, the Sanctuary of Truth towers 105 metres high at its highest point. The building was constructed to withstand the wind and sunshine at Rachvate Cape. The Sanctuary of Truth is located just a few minutes' drive from Pattaya city centre.

Every inch of the wooden structure is covered in ancient carvings. The temple illustrates the use of art and culture as a glimpse into the past view of the earth, ancient science and Eastern philosophy. Visitors to the Sanctuary understand ancient life, human responsibility and the circle of life, as well as the relationship between the universe and a life in Utopia.

Wood carvers' studio

In addition to a guided tour of the temple, where locals come to pray and meditate, you can watch workers polishing and carving wood. Traditional dances are performed outside in front of the building.
