Nintendo Wii is a fantastic games console that can also be used to watch films, provided they are in one of the following formats: DivX, Avi, MPG or MOV.
Films and videos that are not already in this format can be edited with free software (for example Virtual Dub) can be converted.
In order for the Wii to play films, you need a free programme (Video 9) download.
You also need an SD memory card that has at least 2GB. The corresponding film is saved on the SD memory card on the computer, which is then inserted into the corresponding slot on the Nintendo Wii. In the Wii menu, select the photo channel and click the start button on the controller.
