
You can make white dinnerware or washbasins look like new again: Rub the white porcelain surfaces thoroughly with undiluted household bleach and leave to work for 15 to 30 minutes. Then rinse off the bleach with plenty of water and rub the porcelain dry with a towel.
Important: Keep the room in which you use the bleach well ventilated due to the vapours from the bleach. Other surfaces that are not made of porcelain, such as the sink, should not come into contact with the bleach. Cover with a cloth or masking tape.
To be on the safe side, do not treat antique porcelain with bleach, as this can reduce the value of the piece.
The colour of coloured porcelain fades when treated with bleach.
