Small holes and tears in the fly screen are very annoying because they are enough to let annoying flies, mosquitoes and other insects into the house through the window. The fly screen does not have to be replaced immediately. You can quickly mend the hole yourself.

 

All you need for the repair is some colourless nail polish.

The nail polish is applied to both sides of the crack, it is best to let each drop dry for a few seconds and apply enough nail polish to cover the entire hole.

The nail polish seals the cracked cross-linking and does not let any insects through. As the nail polish is colourless, it is not visible at first glance.
