We all try to look as good as possible, no matter what our figure is. Maybe you have a few extra pounds and want to conceal them with your clothes and look great.

•     If your lower half is stronger, wear solid colours there, preferably without patterns. Darker colours are better than bright ones. Wear bright colours and patterns around the top to draw attention to the upper half of your body.
•     If the upper half of your body is the stronger half, wear your clothes in reverse to the above. Wear bottoms with more patterns and simpler tops.
•     If you have little or no waist, you can wear long, tight-fitting tops that reach the lower abdomen. Wear wide belts.
•     Don't wear oversized clothing. It doesn't conceal, it just looks unkempt.
•     But don't wear clothes that are too tight either. Tight clothing emphasises the fat pads.
•     Wear shoes with heels. Heels make you look taller and therefore slimmer.
•     Wear trousers with a slight flare to distract from your thighs.
•     Wear dark trousers.
•     Trouser pockets should sit high to emphasise the bottom.
•     Skirts should also be widened at the bottom to conceal many problem areas.
•     Trousers with vertical stripes are very flattering.
•     Don't show too much cleavage. Tops should fit well but not be too tight.
•     V-necks also have a slimming effect.
•     If you are wearing another top, combine it with a tight-fitting bottom.
•     Tops with half-length sleeves cover overly thick upper arms.
•     Shorts should reach to the knee and fit well, i.e. not be too wide.
•     Try out different styles. Be honest and critical of yourself. When trying on clothes in the shop, look at your reflection in the mirror and ask yourself how you would like these clothes on someone else with the same figure.
•     Don't be afraid to try out new styles. Fashionable clothes make you trendy and distract from the pounds.
