The skin around the eyes is extremely thin and has no sebaceous glands. This is why the area around the eyes is often very sensitive.

 

If you frequently get puffy eyes, it may be because you cannot tolerate a care product.

The skin can react irritably to preservatives, perfumes, emulsifiers, too many lipids or vitamin C. It is often mascara that irritates the eyes. The colours blue and black in particular are often not well tolerated.

Another cause could be a cream that has been open for too long. The cream could have expired and formed bacteria to which the skin reacts sensitively.

To reduce eye swelling, stop using the product immediately and apply cooling eye compresses.
