Beautiful tanned skin is the desire of many people with an otherwise pale skin colour. To achieve a beautiful, evenTo get a good tan without getting sunburnt, you should pay attention to the right care and duration of exposure when sunbathing.
Before sunbathing, you should exfoliate the skin all over your body with peeling products so that dead skin cells do not cause irregular spots on the skin. A simple and inexpensive body scrub can be made from salt and almond oil in a 2:1 ratio. This cleanses the skin thoroughly and moisturises it.
If desired, a tanning accelerator with a sufficient sun protection factor can be applied before sunbathing. The lotion must be applied evenly. There are tanning accelerators for sunbeds and for the sun. It is important to buy the right product, as a tanning bed product does not work outside in the sun and vice versa. The sun protection factor does not prevent pigment colouration (tanning) of the skin, but protects against skin damage caused by sun exposure.
When lying in the sun, each side of the body is exposed to the sun for 20 minutes. Afterwards, you should get out of the sun and apply a moisturising lotion with aloe to prevent the skin from drying out and getting an uneven tan. After about 6 hours you can see the tan you have achieved.
You should continue to sunbathe for 20 minutes on each side three to four times a week. If the tan is not deep enough, you can slowly increase the time by 10 minutes on each side. To avoid sunburn, the total time spent sunbathing should not exceed 60 minutes.
If you want to stay in the sun after sunbathing, you should rinse off the tanning accelerator and apply a sun protection cream with a high sun protection factor.
