Primer (foundation). There are liquid and cream foundations that form the basis of make-up. The colour of the foundation should match your skin tone. Almost all women look better with a cream with a light yellow tone; pink tends to look unflattering. The best way to test the right colour of foundation is to wear it on your skin without make-up and in daylight. If in doubt, choose a shade lighter rather than too dark.
Spread the cream over the skin with your fingers and then gently pat it in to make it more durable.

Compact make-up. This is a powder-based foundation that is particularly suitable for oily and shiny skin or for touching up on the go.

Bronzer makes the face, neck and décolleté look slightly tanned. Under no circumstances should you choose a shade that is too dark, otherwise it will look artificial.

Concealer. The concealer is used to conceal dark circles and small skin blemishes. The shade of the concealer should always be one to two shades lighter than the foundation. The concealer is applied under the foundation. So-called green concealer is a concealer with a greenish hue that conceals redness on the skin.

Loose powder is applied to the foundation with a brush. It mattifies and takes away the shine of the oily foundation. In addition, it helps to fix the foundation on the skin.

Camouflage is a highly opaque make-up for covering scars, birthmarks, age spots or pigmentation disorders. Good camouflage can also be used to completely conceal port-wine stains.

Blush gives the skin a fresh tone. Powder blush is easier to apply. Cream blush is suitable for dry skin.
