Short-sighted people who wear glasses have the problem that the refraction of the lenses makes their eyes appear smaller. The right make-up can compensate for this diminishing effect. This means that even short-sighted spectacle wearers can emphasise their eyes and make them shine.

 

Eye shadow

You can be generous with eyeshadow, because the lenses and the frame of the glasses absorb a lot of the colour.

Light colours such as pink, lilac, white and beige open the eyes and visually enlarge them. Reflective colours such as gold or silver can also be used to emphasise the eyes.

You can apply a light-coloured eyeshadow directly under the eyebrows.

 

Eyeliner and kajal

Just don't use black eyeliner. Black makes your eyes look smaller. An eyeliner pencil in grey, brown or beige is better. Apply the eyeliner to the lower edge of the eyelid and smudge it slightly towards the corners of the eye. A fine white eyeliner on the lower lash line is also good.

You should also never choose black for your eyeliner.

 

Mascara

You can finish off your eye make-up with mascara. Mascara also has an eye-enlarging effect. You can use black mascara for the eyelashes and apply several coats. Then brush into shape with an old toothbrush to avoid the star effect.
