The eye area is particularly sensitive and must therefore be thoroughly and gently cleansed of make-up every evening.
Make-up residue and dirt particles from the air can clog the pores. Leftover mascara can dry out the eyelashes overnight, causing them to break easily.
You can thoroughly cleanse the eye area with a special eye make-up remover. There are gentle eye make-up removers in the pharmacy that have the same pH value as the tear fluid or so-called 2-phase cleansers, which consist of a fat component and a water component.
Apply the cleanser to the eye area with a cotton pad and remove the make-up. Under no circumstances should you rub the sensitive eye area.
After cleansing, it is best to apply a rich eye cream so that the skin is sufficiently moisturised and wrinkles do not form later.
