What chiropractic can do

Healing through chiropractic
Chiropractic is an application method that is an exception among the healing disciplines and does not originate from Far Eastern countries, as one might assume, but was developed in the USA a good 100 years ago.

A trained chiropractor, who always has a medical background, applies pressure to various parts of the body to gently but firmly correct out-of-position bones and joints that have prevented the nervous system from transmitting information to the brain for independent healing.

Chakra therapy

The seven chakras as energy centres
The term chakra, which in German becomes either chakras or chakras in the plural, originally comes from Sanskrit, the language that was spoken in ancient India and is still the language of traditional teachings today, such as yoga and Ayurveda.

Chakra means something like "wheel, or circle in motion" and thus refers to the round shape it represents. Chakras are energy centres located at specific points in the human body. There are seven main chakras on which chakra therapy focuses. They represent the areas of a person's wellbeing and, if disrupted, can be responsible for a person having problems in that area.

Do you know Ayurveda?

Medicine man heals with Ayurveda
Ayurveda is one of the many terms that we associate with natural healing methods, alternative lifestyles and Far Eastern wisdom. We see and hear in adverts, doctors' surgeries, pharmacies and magazines that this or that form of treatment, remedy or herbal preparation is based on the Ayurvedic tradition.

However, most people do not realise exactly what this means, because our understanding of these healing methods is still too vague.

Foetus with umbilical cord

For some years now, it has been possible to have the umbilical cord blood of newborn babies deposited with various companies for life, so to speak, in case it should ever be necessary to use it to cure a serious illness such as cancer.

Umbilical cord blood is seen by parents as an opportunity to guarantee their children help in the event of illness, as donors for spinal cord in the case of blood cancer, for example, are few and far between, as they have to fulfil many criteria to be considered as such.

Wellness for the feet

Wellness for feetThe feet are probably one of the most neglected parts of the body, because they do not have a very good reputation, they can smell bad, are generally not perceived as a particularly aesthetically pleasing part of the body, and quickly develop annoying problems such as blisters, ingrown toenails or even corns.

In summer they swell, in winter they are one of the first parts of the body to freeze. Most of the time we hide our feet in shoes and socks anyway, in short, feet don't have it easy with their owners.

Align yourself with the moon

Moon.jpgThe moon has always been one of the most important celestial bodies and its influence on man and nature has been known since time immemorial. In earlier times, everything was organised according to the lunar calendar, whose months were adapted to its 28-day cycle.

We know that the moon determines the ebb and flow of the world's oceans, that the woman's cycle is also the length of a lunar cycle, as is the fact that it travels through the twelve constellations.
