1. the Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz
The Brandenburg Gate once formed the border between East and West Germany and was a symbol of the Cold War. The 26 metre high gate dates back to early classicism and is made of sandstone. The Brandenburg Gate is located on Pariser Platz in the centre of Berlin.
2. under the lime trees
At the end of the boulevard Unter den Linden stands the Brandenburg Gate as a worthy finale. The street has an interesting mix of restored buildings and modern highlights.

3rd Reichstag
The structure of the Reichstag building was built in 1884-1894 as a symbol of the power of the German Reich. The Reichstag was destroyed by fire in 1833 and bombed during the Second World War. In the 1990s, the British architect Sir Norman Foster transformed the Reichstag building into one of the most modern parliament buildings in the world. It is now the seat of the German Bundestag.

4. Potsdamer Platz
Many say that Potsdamer Platz is the heart of the city of Berlin. Even in the 1920s, the square was a hub of urban entertainment with cinemas, restaurants and shops.
5. museum island
The Museum Island is actually an island, formed from the arms of the River Spree. It is home to the world's most diverse museum of Prussian art and architecture. On the north side of the Museum Island is the impressive Berlin Cathedral

6. Kurfürstendamm
After decades of neglect, the Kurfürstendamm or Ku'damm has once again become a fashionable focal point for Berliners. Elegant boutiques and street artists make the Ku'damm Berlin's most attractive shopping street.
7th Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church
The neo-Romanesque church was named Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in 1895 in honour of Wilhelm I. It was partially destroyed by bombs in 1943 and left as a ruin.
8th Charlottenburg Palace
Construction of the summer residence for Sophie Charlotte, the wife of Frederick III, began in 1695 and extensive renovations have turned the palace into an imposing building.
9th Cultural Forum
The Kulturforum is a complex of museums, concert halls and libraries just a few minutes' walk from Potsdamer Platz. Located in the western part of Berlin, the Kulturforum was originally the West Berlin version of the Museum Island in the east.
10th Berlin Zoo
Germany's oldest zoo has over 1500 species and is one of the best zoos in the world. Animals have been bred and kept here since 1844.
