The museum, or Odditorium, is located on the 3rd floor of the Royal Garden Plaza building in the centre of Pattaya. Inside Ripley's Believe It Or Not, there is a selection of strange exhibits from around the world. These include puzzling facts, illusions and horrors. There is also a high-tech simulator and laser games. The horror house is truly gruesome in places and therefore not necessarily suitable for younger children.
Ripley's Believe It Or Not is not necessarily a must-see museum, but it's fun nonetheless. For example, you can see primitive instruments of torture, a shrivelled human head, a mask made from human skin and a wax figure of a four-eyed man. Some of the exhibits are replicas, others are real. Other interesting pieces include a model of the Titanic made from more than a million matchsticks and a 1937 Jaguar converted into a motorboat. The museum in Pattaya is also the cheapest of its kind compared to other Ripleys in the world. The entrance fee is 680 baht for adults and 580 baht for children. It is open all day.
