Since women are the ones whose bodies are equipped to care for babies, there seems to be no logical reason why the male body also has nipples. Did nature make a mistake, or why else do men have nipples?

Scientists have found that every embryo forms according to a female "template". In this template, the nipples of the female body are present. At this stage of the embryo's development, the question of the x or Y chromosome has not yet been decided. After the sex of the embryo has been decided, the body develops accordingly, but the nipples remain.

The nipples have no function in the male body. When men develop breast attachments, it is usually due to hormonal disorders.

Since the nipples form at a stage of the embryo when the sex is still undecided, men essentially have nipples and tissue of the same structure, which also means that they can get breast cancer just like women. The nipples are the same in men and women, only the size and function are different, because they develop after the sex has been determined.
