Here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
75 grams margarine
75 grams brown sugar or sugar substitute
75 grams of sucralose (diet sweetener)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
165 gram flour
1 teaspoon baking soda (sodium hydrogen carbonate)
¼ teaspoon salt
150 g chocolate shavings
50 grams chopped nuts
Preparation of the chocolate nut biscuits
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Melt the margarine.
- Mix the liquid margarine, sugar or sugar substitute, sucralose and vanilla extract in a bowl.
- Add the eggs and mix well with a hand mixer.
- Add the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in the grated chocolate and chopped nuts.
- Spoon the dough onto a greased baking tray or baking paper.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 10-12 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
The above mixture makes about 36 biscuits.
