The bidet is found almost everywhere in bathrooms, especially in southern countries. But even in Germany, many people have a bidet installed without actually knowing what it is used for.

 

 

So what is the bidet for?

 

What it was really invented for, no one can say with absolute certainty. Even in southern countries, the majority of people don't even know what it's good for, or they use it for whatever makes the most sense to them.

There are two options, for which most people use a bidet:

 

For washing the feet or for intimate care, especially for washing the intimate area of women.
