Superglue is designed for quickly gluing materials together literally in seconds. Therefore, extra care must be taken when handling superglue so that it does not get on the skin.

Under no circumstances should you try to forcibly remove the adhesive from the skin so as not to damage it.

Here's what you can do to remove superglue from the skin.

 

Apply acetone-based nail polish remover to the corresponding area on the skin. The acetone dissolves the adhesive.

If there is a lot of superglue on the skin, it is best to soak the affected area thoroughly with nail polish remover. Gently knead the skin while soaking.

After removing the adhesive, clean the skin with soap and water.

If you don't have nail polish remover in the house, soak the skin thoroughly in warm water with plenty of soap.

Dry the affected skin area and apply cream so that it does not become sore.

If any glue gets into your eyes or mouth, be sure to keep them open and rinse with water for 15 minutes. In this case, you should seek medical help.
