Cat with bow as Christmas decoration
Christmas is in the air. This year, you want to decorate your home especially beautifully for Christmas. But this time you don't want to have the same decorations as everyone else, you want to have your own individual Christmas decorations. It's best to make your own Christmas decorations, it's really easy and gives your home a personal touch.
Below are tips on how to make your own Christmas decorations quickly and inexpensively.

You can take different coloured ribbons, gift ribbons or similar and tie them together as bows. You can hang these bows on the Christmas tree, on an Advent wreath or over the doors to your room.

Draw simple Christmas patterns such as stars, bells or snowflakes on a white tablecloth using colourful textile pens. Spread the painted tablecloth over the table to give it a festive look.

Take a large glass bowl and fill it with water. Now simply float a few rose petals on the water. The bowl can be placed on a table or fireplace.

With flowers, preferably red flowers with green leaves, you can weave long garlands and tie them around railings.

You can paint the underside of a large glass plate with gold paint and place it on a table. Now place some white candles on the plate so that the underside is visible between the candles.

Biscuits are also great for decorating. After cutting out the biscuits, before they are baked, you can poke holes in them so that you can pull a string through them later. You can now hang the biscuits on the Christmas tree.

You can also use white cotton wool balls as snowflakes. Simply wrap a thread around them and hang the cotton wools on the Christmas tree, on an Advent wreath or on the windows.
