Trainers and canvas shoes can stink terribly, especially if you wear them without socks in summer.

 

You can significantly improve the odour by sprinkling some salt into the shoe after wearing it. The salt absorbs the moisture created by your feet sweating and thus also absorbs a large part of the odour.

 

But don't forget to shake out the salt before you put your shoes on again!
