With onion juice you can make a very effective and natural remedy against insects and pests. You can use it to protect flowers and vegetables, as well as your houseplants.

 

In a blender, puree 4 onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper and a quarter of a litre of water.

Set the mixture aside.

Dissolve 2 tablespoons of soap flakes in about 5 litres of water and stir in the onion mixture thoroughly.

You can spread this solution on and around your plants and effectively keep all pests away.
