Spagyric is a term that has not yet become widely known, yet it is, as with all other areas of alternative medicine and naturopathy, a word that comes from a very old tradition.

Spagyric is a term from alchemy, the discipline that in antiquity and the Middle Ages ensured that chemical compounds were known and used so that they could be used in powders, drinks and preparations.

The best-known European alchemist and spagyricist, who ensured that alchemy was also recognised by conventional medicine in the 17th century, helped to shape the precursors of today's chemistry and pharmacy through his teachings.

Despite the loss of the natural philosophical part of alchemy, Paracelsus' suggestions were taken up in order to translate the knowledge of medicinal plants into practical treatment methods.

What are spagyric essences?

Spagyric essences are now offered in the form of mouth sprays that can be used for adults and children as well as pregnant women.

The spray in the mouth allows absorption through the mucous membranes without affecting the stomach or intestines. There are therefore no side effects or irritation and the product is versatile.

Functional disorders and organ diseases can be treated; the individual herbal components are customised by the attending physician.

Spagyric remedies can be used both internally and externally; in addition to the oral spray form mentioned above, there are also liniments, poultices and compresses, or mouthwash solutions. The remedies are even suitable for injection into muscles and tissue.

Similar to the homeopathic principle and methods of application, the use of spa essences also focuses on activating the body's own self-healing mechanisms.

The placebo effect was ruled out by administering it to animals (pets such as dogs, horses and cows), in which treatment successes were also achieved.
