The game is played by 2 to 5 players with 32 cards (7 to Ace). The value of the card goes from top to bottom: Ace, Ten, King, Queen, Jack, Nine, Eight, Seven.

Each player is dealt three cards. The player to the left of the dealer announces the trump suit. The cards of the trump suit take all the other cards.

After the trump colour is announced, each player receives two more cards. In turn, each player has the opportunity to exchange two cards. The first player plays a card. All other players must now add a card of the same colour or, if they do not have a matching colour, play a trump card. If you have neither the right colour nor a trump card, you can discard at will. The player who played the highest card takes the trick and now plays the next card. When all five tricks have been taken, the points are counted. Each player starts with 20 points, from which one point is deducted for each trick taken; if the trick was taken with a heart card, two points are deducted. The player who did not take a trick adds 5 points; if hearts were the trump suit, they add 10 points. The player who has zero points first wins.
