The game is played with 32 cards, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. The cards are placed face down on the table. The aim of the game is to score 21 points with 2 or more cards.

 

Card values: 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen = 1 point

King = 2 points

Ace = 11 points

 

Game preparation

One of the players is appointed as the banker, who fills a cash box with a predetermined amount of tokens. Each player receives a predetermined amount of tokens that they can use for their stake.

 

Course of the game

The first player names the amount he wants to play for. The banker gives him the top card from the deck and places the second card face down in front of him. The third card goes back to the player. The player can keep asking for cards until he either has exactly 21 points, which he lays face up on the table, or until he has exceeded 21 points, in which case he is eliminated. If the player has less than 21 points, he can pass without revealing his cards. If a player passes, the banker must reveal his cards and take cards until he passes or is eliminated.

Whoever is closest to 21 points or has even reached the exact number wins. The winner is paid out the aforementioned winning amount in tokens. If a player has lost their stake, it is paid into the cash box.

Each player can pass or ask for as many cards as they like. The banker has the advantage if they have the same number of points, so each player tries to cheat to maintain their advantage.
