This card game can be played by any number of players. The game is played with 52 cards. One player is appointed banker. Each player pays an agreed, equal stake in tokens. The banker divides the cards into different piles, as many piles as there are players. Each player picks up a pile and places it face down on the table in front of them. He turns over his pile (his packet) so that the bottom card is now face up. The other players now do the same. All players who have a higher card value than the banker receive the card value in tokens. The players whose card value is lower than that of the bank holder must pay the bank.

 

Card values: Ace = 1; Two = 2; Three = 3; Four = 4; etc, Ten = 10; Jack = 11; Queen = 12; King = 13. The Ace is therefore the worst card.

If a player's card has the same value as that of the banker, nothing is paid.

After each round, the next card in the pack is revealed and a new score is calculated. The winner is the player with the most tokens.
