How to blow out Easter eggs:

You need a needle to pierce the eggs, preferably a special egg needle from the household. Take the needle in your writing hand and the egg in your other hand. Then pierce a small hole in the tip of the egg. Now carefully turn the egg over and pierce a hole on the opposite side.

Now the egg is ready to be blown out. To do this, take the egg in one hand and hold it over a bowl. Now you can start blowing. Blow carefully but firmly into one hole until the egg white and yolk are pushed out through the hole at the other end. Do not press too hard on the shell so that the egg does not break.

It is important to only blow the air and breathe it back in through your nose to avoid inhaling the raw egg into your mouth, not least because raw egg can contain salmonella.

The eggshell can now be coloured, painted or decorated in any way you like.

The raw egg whites and yolks that have been blown out can still be used for cooking as long as they have been blown into a clean bowl.
