For women during pregnancy, especially from the second trimester onwards, it is recommended that they sit in front of the computer for a maximum of two hours at a time. The computer is not dangerous in itself, but rather the sitting position causes back pain, swollen legs and disturbs the blood circulation in the abdomen in pregnant women. In extreme cases, this can even lead to an insufficient supply of blood to the embryo.
After sitting for a maximum of two hours, a pregnant woman should therefore stand up and walk around for at least half an hour before sitting down at the computer again.
