If you are often out and about with your baby or toddler, it can happen that you don't have a bib with you. To protect your child's clothes from unpleasant stains, you can make a quick replacement bib.
Take a napkin or a kitchen towel and fasten two ends behind the neck with a clothes peg, a safety pin or a hair tie, depending on what you have to hand.
With slightly larger kitchen towels, you can also make bibs for adults, for example when eating lobster or wearing particularly delicate clothing.
