It can be annoying if you forget to chill your beer. It takes about 45 minutes to chill a bottle of lemonade or beer to the right temperature in the freezer compartment.

 

The quickest way to cool drinks is to place the bottle or can in a bucket of ice cubes and water and mix plenty of salt into the ice cubes, about 100g of salt per litre. The drink will be ice-cold in 4 to 5 minutes.
