The make-up that you use regularly will probably be used up before it expires. However, make-up that is only used once in a while will eventually become too old and should be thrown away.

 

Most make-up products lose their properties after about a year. It therefore makes sense to note the date of purchase on the product packaging.

Make-up products that are sticky, dried or cracked should no longer be used and should be disposed of immediately.

It is better not to share cosmetic products with other people so that skin oils and bacteria do not settle in and contaminate your skin. Make-up that is shared with other people should be thrown away and replaced with separate products for everyone, especially lip products and eye make-up.
