Modern men also want to have beautiful skin, because beauty is no longer just a woman's thing. The following also applies to men: beautiful skin doesn't just happen on its own, but through daily care.
1. cleansing the skin. Men's skin tends to be particularly oily in certain areas. Excess oil clogs the pores and prevents the razor blade from gliding smoothly. Therefore, the face should be washed with water and facial soap before shaving.
2 Before shaving, splash the skin of the face with warm water to open the pores. Now apply a shaving gel to keep the skin moisturised and warm. The smoother the skin is, the better the shave. Shaving while showering is a good idea, as the moisture from the shower softens the skin and makes it easier to remove stubble.
3. shave in the right direction. Generally shaving against the direction in which the hair grows can cause skin irritation and damage the hair. For a more comfortable shave, shave in the direction in which the hair grows.
4. the right razor blade. There are single, double or multiple blades. To save time, you should choose a razor with three to five blades. This means you don't have to go over the skin several times and prevents irritation. The razor blade should feel good on the skin and not be used with too much pressure.
5. fast, rough movements can damage the skin. Take enough time for shaving and allow a few minutes between cleansing, gel and shaving.
6. moisturiser. Depending on your skin type, moisturising cream is beneficial during the day and at night, as it keeps the skin supple and makes it easier to shave the next day. Moisturising also reduces minor injuries and skin irritations. Moisturisers should be specially formulated for men's skin and usually contain natural moisturising ingredients such as vitamin E, shea butter or essential oils.
