A beautifully made-up mouth doesn't take much effort at all. Read these tips on how to make up beautiful lips with ease.

Before applying lipstick, make sure your lips are nice and smooth, preferably with moisturiser or a little honey. This will make the thin skin on your lips supple and the lipstick will look more beautiful.
Lipstick should not contain any shiny pigments, as these will settle in the tiny wrinkles of the skin, so that the mouth no longer looks evenly made up. A good lipstick contains enough lipids to give the lips a natural shine.

A lip liner is advisable so that the contours around the mouth do not run. The lip liner does not have to be the same colour as the lipstick. Depending on your skin type, a pale pink lip liner (for light skin) or a brown lip liner (for darker skin) will suffice.

Apply lipstick from the centre of the lips outwards. Only apply a little lipstick to the corners of the mouth so that the mouth does not look clown-like. Briefly press the painted lips together on a paper towel to remove any excess colour. Then apply a second coat and press onto the paper again. By applying two coats, the lipstick will last longer.

It is quite natural for the colour to fade as a result of moving your mouth, eating and drinking or wetting your lips. So don't forget to refresh your lipstick colour from time to time.
