What you need:

1-2 tsp activated charcoal in fine powder (available in pet shops, usually in the aquarium section)

2 Proportion2 Wheat flour

1 portion wholemeal flour

1/2 part bran

1 portion cornflour

fresh basil

fresh rosemary

2 eggs

Lactose-free milk (available in pet shops)

6 tsp vegetable oil

Mix all the dry ingredients together well in a bowl.

Mix the eggs and oil and knead into the dry mixture.

Knead in enough lactose-free milk to form a dough.

Shape the dough into biscuits and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake the biscuits at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes until the dog biscuits are hard, dry and lightly browned.

Store the cooled dog biscuits in a tin or plastic bag to prevent them from becoming soft.

You can keep the dog biscuits in the fridge for a week and in the freezer for up to three months.
