This results in a greater sense of achievement and often awakens hidden talents in the child. <br \/>For his part, the child learns to set higher expectations for himself. The child learns that regular practice is the way to success.<\/p>\n<p>For the shy and withdrawn child, activities such as acting, elocution or drama programmes are an outlet for repressed feelings.
