In order to get safely through an aquaplaning situation, it is important to have the right driving behaviour.<br \/>Here is how to behave correctly in the event of aquaplaning.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The most important rules to follow if you suddenly find yourself in an aquaplaning situation with your car are as follows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep calm, take a deep breath. Panic and hectic movements cause the driver to lose control of the steering wheel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold the steering wheel firmly and straight with both hands. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take your feet off the accelerator and clutch. The vehicle no longer responds as the tyres are no longer in contact with the ground.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Concentrate on keeping the car on track. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not counter-steer.
