For most of us, however, life is not at all as dangerous and frightening as our brains would have us believe.

The fears that most people feel on a daily basis are often psychological and imagined threats that the nervous system and body react to as if they were real threats. So the original fear triggers are usually not real, but the feelings they make you experience are very real.

Fear is usually triggered when things come your way that you don't think you can handle. For example, through a negative experience in a similar situation in the past.

So while the fear trigger is based on bad experience or worries about a possible outcome of the situation, it is actually the fear itself that causes most people this fear; that is, the fear of fear.

Unfortunately, if you spend your time trying to get your anxiety under control, all you often achieve is to lose yourself deeper in stress and nervousness.

Fear cannot be stopped just like that and it is not good to try to overcome it by force. Those who try to fight their fear brutally will provide more food for fear in the future.

However, the tactic of avoiding certain situations does not lead to any result either, it only allows for short-term postponement.

So it is better to make peace with your inner fear and focus your strength and energy on the things that bring you relaxation and positive emotions.

Anxiety is just a feeling that will pass after a while, as long as you don't try to fight it too hard. It's perfectly OK to be anxious or nervous, you have to learn to be comfortable with your anxiety.

Your fear is just an association and a habitual reaction to a situation that the brain has learned to associate with threat.

The physical reaction to a threat is shallow and rapid breathing, held breath and tense muscles. People who frequently react like this to a stressful situation, this physical reaction becomes a habit for them and they therefore react to more and more situations with fear.

To reduce these anxieties, one must first consciously notice the physical tension so that one can learn to break the habit. So instead of getting carried away by the physical tension, one should learn to recognise the triggers and consciously relax the body again.

You can't get rid of anxiety by fighting, a better way is to learn to stay physically calm around the anxiety and focus on something else.

It is important to understand that it is not possible for the body to feel fear when the muscles are relaxed. Through meditation and relaxation exercises, one can learn to exhale when the body is tense and relax the tense muscle groups one by one. At the same time, you can consciously slow down your breathing. This sends a message to the brain that there is no reason to be threatened and it stops producing stress hormones.

Don't try to fight the fear, because that will make it stronger. Instead, observe your physical reactions and let the fear peacefully rise and fall as if it were none of your business. Fear feeds on your attention to it, ignoring it weakens it.

Many people are permanently in a state of anxiety and nervousness.
