Everywhere else you can pretend it's intentional, but on the bum it's obvious, even on a pair of ragged jeans.<br \/>Most people throw away such torn jeans, but there is a way to mend them without it being noticeable.<br \/>All you need is an iron and a few patches to iron on.<br \/>Read on to find out how it's done.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<br \/><strong>First step: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Set the iron to a high temperature. Turn the trousers inside out and lay them flat on the ironing board so that the tear does not crease. The tear should be facing upwards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second step: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lay the edges of the tear as close together as possible. Do not overlap, just lay them as close together as possible. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Third step:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cut the iron-on patch to size so that the tear is completely covered. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Fourth step:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now run the iron over the area where the patch is to be ironed on to preheat the fabric of the jeans so that the patch sticks better. Now place the patch on the tear with the adhesive side facing down. It is important that the patch does not get too hot, otherwise it will not stick properly. Only hold the iron on the patch for about 3 to 5 seconds.
