Hang curtains correctly: When hanging curtains, people often make the mistake of placing them close to the window. The visual result: the window looks smaller and the whole room more compact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is better to place the curtains generously at the top of the wall about 10cm below the ceiling and let the curtains flow almost to the floor. This makes the room look open and spacious and the window look larger.

Also, the curtains should not cover half of the window pane if they are not drawn, but hang well above the wall next to it. They cover just a few centimetres of the left and right window frames.
