You should therefore shorten hanging curtain cords and not leave any cords or rubber bands lying around. On a hot summer's day, the temperature inside the car can rise to over 40 degrees in just a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>6. leave the pet with two bowls of water during the day if you are travelling all day. This way the pet will not suffer from thirst if a bowl is accidentally knocked over.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>7 Dogs that live in the kennel need a comfortable place to sleep. The kennel should be large enough for the dog to stand in, but small enough for the dog's body heat to warm up the kennel. The entrance to the kennel should be sheltered from the wind and rain. The floor should be slightly raised and protected from moisture.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>8. spilt household products should be wiped up immediately so that the animal does not lick them up. Always keep all chemicals and cleaning agents out of reach.<\/p>\n<p>9. do not feed chocolate to pets because it contains theobromine, which is toxic to animals, especially dogs. Symptoms of chocolate poisoning include over-excitement, heavy panting, muscle tremors, vomiting and diarrhoea.<\/p>\n<p>10 Nicotine is extremely toxic to animals. Birds in particular react sensitively to cigarette smoke and become ill very quickly. Avoid smoking in the presence of pets.
