Of these, 200,000 are people from abroad.<\/p>\n The Taj Mahal has various optical illusions that have been cleverly applied. For example, there is a zigzag pattern on the outer walls that makes the half-column look two-sided or six-sided, depending on the distance of the observer. If you stand inside one of the archways, you can see the Taj Mahal in its entirety. The further away one steps, always keeping an eye on the taj mahal, the larger it seems to become.
