Inside the cathedral are a number of outstanding works of art.<\/p>\n Florence<\/strong> David. Michelangelo's David is located in the Galleria dell'Academia, Via de Ricasoli. The statue of David is one of the most famous and outstanding works of art of the Renaissance and is an essential part of any visit to Florence. Piazza del Campo. The impressive square in the centre of Siena, with its pink-tinted buildings, is one of the most beautiful medieval squares in Europe. From the network of narrow alleyways, you enter the Piazza del Campo like a stage. The spacious, rounded square is the highlight of the city. The Palazzo Publico and the Torre Magno are well worth a visit.
The town hall in Piazza de Campo is also a popular and exotic location for weddings.<\/p>\n
Cappelle Medicee. Piazza Madonna degli Aldobrandini is home to the Medicis' private chapel and mausoleum, where some of Michelangelo's most exquisite works can be admired. The chapel is open daily from 8.30 to 5.00, on Sundays only until 1.30.<\/p>\n
The museum is only open in the mornings.<\/p>\n
