In order not to tempt car thieves unnecessarily, it is better to avoid using your own car as much as possible. In addition, it is usually quicker to get to Prague by public transport. <br \/>In smaller towns, you can park the car in guarded car parks in the city centre. Nevertheless, a mechanical immobiliser is recommended.<\/p>\n<p>Be careful when taking a taxi, as tourists are often ripped off with inflated prices, especially in Prague. As things stand, the Czech crown is the currency of the Czech Republic. When exchanging money, do not do it on the street, but use a bank or ATM.
