There are many different factors that contribute to environmental pollution and the list is constantly growing. There are two main categories of pollution: primary pollutants and secondary pollutants.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Prim\u00e4re Schadstoffe<\/p>\n<p>Ein prim\u00e4rer Schadstoff wirkt direkt von der Schadstoffquelle auf die Umwelt. Ein Fabrikschornstein, der umweltsch\u00e4dliche Gase direkt in die Atmosph\u00e4re ausst\u00f6\u00dft, ist ein prim\u00e4rer Umweltverschmutzer. Auch Verbraucher k\u00f6nnen als prim\u00e4re Verunreiniger gelten, wenn sie Produkte verwenden, die sich direkt sch\u00e4dlich auf die Umwelt auswirken. Argon-haltige Dosen sind Prim\u00e4rschadstoffe, da das Argon die Atmosph\u00e4re direkt verseucht.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sekund\u00e4re Schadstoffe<\/p>\n<p>Sekund\u00e4re Verschmutzung tritt dann auf, wenn zwei oder mehr prim\u00e4re Schadstoffe sich miteinander vermischen und einen neuen Schadstoff bilden. Diese Schadstoffe werden nicht direkt von der Quelle ausgesto\u00dfen, sondern sind das Resultat der bereits vorhandenen Verschmutzung unter gleichzeitiger Erzeugung neuer Schadstoffe. Kohlenwasserstoffe, Stickstoffoxid und Schwefeldioxid geh\u00f6ren zu den prim\u00e4ren Schadstoffen, da sie direkt vom Verursacher in die Luft ausgesto\u00dfen werden.
