Wood shavings and cat litter are extremely absorbent and absorb a large proportion of the oil on the surface. The litter should be left there for two full days to soak up the oil. Then remove it with a broom. Now spread some dry cement powder over the dried oil stain so that the stain is completely covered. The cement powder should also remain on the stain for two days. After two days, sweep up the cement powder. Some of the cement powder will bond with the surface and hide the stain.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wood shavings or cat litter will absorb the oil on the surface, while the dry cement powder will suck out any deeper-seated oil from the concrete. For best results, remove an oil stain when it is still fresh.
