In the mouth, thrush appears as curd-like patches on the tongue and the inside of the cheeks. Thrush is painful and should be treated with medication.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Oral herpes<\/p>\n Unprotected oral sex can lead to oral herpes, which takes the form of sores on the tip of the tongue, the palate, the throat and the inside of the cheeks.
