Classic preparation of Absente<\/p>\n
Pour 80ml of Absente into a glass and place an Absente spoon horizontally on the rim of the glass. Place two sugar cubes on the Absente spoon, then slowly pour the 80ml of cold water over the sugar cubes so that they dissolve. As the sugar dissolves, the drink becomes slightly cloudy. Once the sugar has completely dissolved, stir the drink with the spoon and enjoy.<\/p>\n

Absentee Bohemian Style<\/p>\n
Place the Absente spoon horizontally on the glass and place two sugar cubes on top. Pour 80 ml of absentee quickly over the sugar so that it absorbs the liquid but is not completely dissolved. Light the soaked sugar cubes with a lighter. The flame glows bluish and can ignite the liquid in the glass. It is best to use a glass that is large enough. Many people prefer to light the liqueur on fire because it makes the drink stronger.<\/p>\n
