The most common illnesses are so-called seasonal illnesses, which are triggered by unstable seasonal weather conditions during the transitional periods of spring and autumn. The usual symptoms are headaches, lung, heart and circulatory problems, hyperthyroidism and arthritis. In spring, stomach ulcers are more common, in summer there is more diarrhoea, stomach and intestinal disorders and hay fever, and in winter it is mainly colds, bronchitis, flu, pneumonia, rheumatism and rickets that occur. People with heart disease are advised to avoid extreme cold in winter and to avoid strong sunlight in summer.

Prevention of weather-related diseases

Weather sensitivity is so complex that there is no treatment for it. The best way to avoid the discomfort caused by the weather is to adjust your lifestyle. The body can be strengthened and made more resistant through certain measures. These include a healthy diet, regular exercise in the fresh air, avoiding stress, getting enough sleep and maintaining mental balance. You should avoid stimulants such as nicotine and alcohol.

Clothing plays a key role in keeping the body's heat balance in equilibrium and thus protects against the weather. Clothing that does not transport enough heat to the outside causes heat to build up on the skin, while clothing that releases heat to the outside too quickly leads to hypothermia. The type of textile fibre is less important than its ability to trap air and form an insulating layer.

A weakened or unstable organism is disturbed by weather and weather patterns and not infrequently these disturbances trigger illnesses or existing illnesses worsen.

["2780"],"_fgj2wp_old_id":["2479
wenn das wetter krank macht
2009
1
when-the-weather-makes-you-ill
12

post-2781","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-gesundheit","entry","has-media
["GET
