The best way to do this is to make a hair pack with olive oil, which is as simple as it is effective. Heat about half a cupful of cold-pressed olive oil in the microwave for 20 seconds. Place a towel around the shoulders to protect the clothes. Carefully massage the warmed olive oil into the hair. If you have a dry scalp, you can also rub some oil into the scalp. If the hair is oily, the oil should only be massaged in to about 1 cm from the hairline. The hair should be completely treated with the olive oil and is then covered with a shower cap.
